STORY’s demo site in the residential area of Suha, Slovenia, had the honor of welcoming the presidents of Finland and Slovenia, Mr. Sauli Niinistö and Mr. Borut Pahor, as part of the official visit of the Finnish President to Slovenia. STORY is an outstanding example of the co-operation in Europe. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No 646426.
BaseN plays a key role in enabling the STORY project by monitoring the battery and solar panel-based renewal energy production in Slovenia, providing key performance indicators for Elektro Gorenjska, one of the biggest electrical power distribution companies in Slovenia.
STORY partners are operating eight demonstration sites in the following five countries; Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Belgium and the United Kingdom (Northern Ireland).BaseN gathers their measurement data from various installation sites and acts as a data aggregator. Every site provides data from different sensors with differing frequencies.
BaseN Platform commensurates all the data streams to standard time series format. The collected data is displayed in an easily understandable, concise and relevant way – real time and historically, which enables the STORY team to successfully analyze and demonstrate the value of the projects.
