The emergence of the Internet of Things brings a lot of potential to existing businesses of all sorts. Pasi Hurri, President and CEO of BaseN, will present BaseN’s Spime service on the second day of Living Bits and Things, taking place June 2 – 6, 2014 in Bled, Slovenia.
Spime means looking beyond the Internet of Things and simply connecting objects. With spime the main object is the virtual representation of any physical object that records the full lifecycle of its physical counterpart. All logic is residing in the spime and the physical object is therefore easily replaceable while all historical data is stored in the spime.
