BaseN accompanies the Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment during a Team Finland arranged visit to Delhi from April 24-28, 2017. The visit aims at creating new business opportunities through cooperation between India and Finland within the energy sector.
India’s energy sector is undergoing a significant change which has redefined the industry direction. Sustained economic growth continues to drive electricity demand in India and the Indian Government focuses on attaining ‘Power for all’ has accelerated capacity addition in the country. India’s goal is to power all households, with electricity available for at least 8 hours per day, by 2017. India also aims to implement 100 Smart City initiatives and dozens of smart grid pilot projects.
