Spime-enabled situational awareness – BaseN joins National Defense Industrial Association

::: news :::

As a full stack Internet of Things (IoT) operator, BaseN controls the full value chain to provide ultimate scalability, fault tolerance and security. The role of IoT and spime rapidly expands not only among industries but also in national security.

IoT applications are often mission-critical and BaseN warrants that data is never lost, missed or misused due the fully resilient and secure platform architecture. Hence it was a logical step for BaseN to join and contribute to the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). NDIA’s role is to drive strategic dialogue in national security by identifying key issues and leveraging the knowledge and experience of its military, government, industry, and academic members to address them.

About BaseN

As a global Full Stack IoT Operator BaseN, established in 2001, enables Businesses to enter the Internet of Things (IoT) by digitalizing and connecting new and traditional industry products to offer new intelligent services. The BaseN Platform – designed to be real time, linearly scalable, fault tolerant and inherently distributed – currently processes over one million spime transactions per second. Spimes are virtual master objects that control physical things in the IoT.

About NDIA

NDIA, comprised of its affiliates, chapters, divisions, and 1,600 corporate and 85,000 individual members, is a non-partisan, non-profit, educational association that has been designated by the IRS as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization – not a lobby firm – and was founded to educate its constituencies on all aspects of national security.

NDIA traces its history to the American Defense Preparedness Association (ADPA), founded in 1919, and the National Security Industrial Association (NSIA), founded in 1944. For nearly 100 years, NDIA has provided a platform through which leaders in government, industry and academia can collaborate and provide solutions to advance the national security and defense needs of the nation.
