BaseN runs a spimecopter workshop at Meet IoT, taking place in Turin, Italy on October 1-2, 2015. The workshop will explore what kind of cyber-physical architecture is needed to support Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). In the not too far future UAVs will be 3D printed, and all their flight control, navigation and obstacle avoidance algorithms will emanate from a distant Cloud. In addition, Pasi Hurri, CEO, and Erik Bunn, CTO, will guide the workshop participants through related topics like public safety, operational risks and hacking.
Meet IoT brings together public administrators, entrepreneurs, developers and influential thought leaders. The program covers hot IoT topics like smart manufacturing, social innovation, new business models and economic development.
The BaseN workshop takes place October 2nd at 9:30 am, right before the panel session of Bruce Sterling, the renowned author who coined the spime concept.
