BaseN participates TM Forum Action Week

Anders Viden, VP of Product Management at BaseN, will participate the TM Forum Action Week in Morristown, New Jersey, from July 21 – 25, 2014. BaseN is interested in developing the new Internet of Things focus of TM Forum further with this Action Week serving as a starting point to plan the next TMF Live! event to take place December 8 – 11, 2014, in San Jose, California. The Internet of Things was for the first time a theme at the last TMF Live! event in Nice, France, that took place from June 2 – 5, 2014. Part of the Internet of Things hub were four catalysts. BaseN was part of two of those catalysts, the Digital Health and Smart Energy catalysts.

BaseN’s Platform is ideally suited for the Internet of Things, or taking it one step further, for hosting millions of spimes. The TM Forum Internet of Things initiative is therefore a perfect spot for BaseN. BaseN has been a member of TM Forum since 2011 and has significantly contributed in developing the Smart Grid themed catalyst further over the past years. With equal dedication the eHealth themed catalyst, first introduced in 2013, already took a giant leap in cooperation with the catalyst partners Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Cisco Systems, Detecon, Ericsson, ISPM and TOA Technologies.
