Pasi Hurri, CEO of BaseN, joins Amcham Finland’s visit to Washington, D.C. from August 22 to 26, 2016. The delegation will explore how high profile public affairs professionals manage to get their messages across, and will be devided into two streams – the “general public affairs track”, and the “defense track” which Mr. Hurri will join.
The kick off will be held at the world’s largest business association, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The group will continue from there to visit institutions like the U.S. Congress and State Department and go through case studies with some of the most exciting and influential companies in the world. BaseN as a global IoT operator that processes more than 860K transactions per second, brings the required scalability and fault tolerance to mission critical operations. US organizations can largely benefit from IoT powered by Europe when looking at developing new state and defense services. BaseN has an office in Sunnyvale, California, and a long business history in the U.S. Reconnecting with existing and making new contact is an excellent opportunity to be combined with Amcham Finland’s visit to Washington D.C..
