BaseN in Libelium’s IoT ecosystem

::: news :::

Libelium, designer and manufacturer of technology for the Internet of Things (IoT), and BaseN, a global Full Stack IoT Operator, have joined forces to speed up IoT adoption in any market.

BaseN and Libelium are now offering an integrated end-to-end IoT service suitable for any industry. BaseN Platform gathers the desired data that is transmitted through Libelium’s Meshlium gateway, turns that data into actionable information and delivers it to the end users. This happens through a multi-tenant user interface, reports and real-time alarms in case of emergencies.

The compatibility between Libelium wireless sensor networks and BaseN extreme-scale IoT Platform allows to develop in an easy way new IoT applications for smart cities, precission agriculture, smart environment and smart water management. In that sense, companies are enabled to deliver reliable IoT solutions with minimum time to market.

BaseN, with Libelium sensor network, have developed an IoT project for the golf course in Poorvo (Finland). It enables keepers to know exactly when the need for maintenance arises, provides an understanding of the player volumes, and gives players accurate and real-time information about the weather and other environmental conditions. “BaseN Platform and Libelium sensors provide accurate information and knowledge to take management decisions to the end users”, says Alicia Asin, CEO of Libelium.

“BaseN provides real time operations with own full stack platform, enabling true scalability and resilience for millions of users” adds Pasi Hurri, CEO of BaseN. “This makes BaseN Platform the perfect match for all kinds of mission-critical and sustainability needs in e.g. smart grid, smart city and advanced smart home environments”.
