Spiming the Cloud – BaseN adds support for Cisco Meraki Cloud Controller

::: news :::

Because of BaseN Platform’s modular templating structure it is relatively easy to enable support for heterogeneous environments containing Cisco’s Meraki Cloud Controller. BaseN Platform has thousands of templates for different types of device connectivity and communication paired with specific monitoring and control functionalities.

“BaseN added support for Cisco Meraki Cloud managed Wi-Fi devices, for both SNMP measurements and support for real-time traps”, says Mika Savela, Network Engineer at BaseN.

A Cisco Meraki template is available in BaseN Platform’s library for quick deployment when customers want to utilize Cisco’s Meraki Cloud Controller. Cloud Networking provides centralized management, visibility, and control without the cost and complexity of controller appliances or overlay management software.
