Earth Hour 2018 – Sustainability of paramount importance for BaseN

::: events :::

BaseN is already a platform for numerous sustainability initiatives like Adjutantti and Spinelli in Finland and VolkerWessels in the Netherlands and Germany.

During  Earth Hour, individuals and businesses pay attention to their energy consumption and try to reduce it to a minimum by for example switching off unnecessary lights for one hour.

Earth Hour is the milestone of WWF‘s movement that started in 2007 in Sydney. On March 24, Earth Hour is now celebrated in more than 180 countries and territories as a global momentum and will once again unite millions of people around the world to show their commitment to the planet.

“With a full off grid home, I can disconnect from the grid during Earth Hour or any other hour or month throughout the year”, says Pasi Hurri, President and CEO of BaseN. “We at BaseN believe in evidence-based sustainability and fully support initiatives like Earth Hour.”
