The Finnish Government has set an objective that Finland will be a pioneer in Bioeconomy, circular economy and Cleantech by 2025. The focus is on the development, introduction and export of sustainable solutions. The government aims to improve the current state of affairs by increasing the self-sufficiency, creating new jobs and reaching the climate objectives while attaining a good ecological status for the Baltic Sea.
