Introduction: In collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), BaseN is developing a breakthrough system to solve a critical gap in industrial operations: the ability to track “Untrackable” assets. BaseN is engineering a secure, distributed system to transform how critical infrastructure and large-scale environments are monitored. By fusing Edge AI with Collaborative PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing), our system enables fleets of drones and rovers to detect, track, and geolocate “untrackable” objects (people, vegetation, structural faults) without relying solely on GNSS.

We are currently validating our technical roadmap against real-world operational needs. Your expertise will directly influence features regarding fleet coordination, latency, and data security.

Latency vs. Accuracy Trade-off: Regarding Object Localization (e.g., pinning a fault on a map):

Speed First: I need a rough location (<10m error) within 2 seconds.
Balanced: I can wait 10 seconds for higher accuracy (<2m error) (Standard Config).
Precision First: I can wait minutes/post-processing if it guarantees sub-meter accuracy.

Fleet Coordination: Do you have a need for multiple agents (drones/rovers) to collaborate on a single task (e.g., "Find the missing person in this 5km zone")?
