Helsinki, Finland, February 2006 – MATERNA Information & Communications Oy and BaseN Oy have agreed to collaborate on developing and providing IT service management solutions and processes for business. The companies' system solutions and process consulting will combine IT systems into manageable services that will bring maximum added value to business.
MATERNA is an expert on work guidance and support systems and IT processes. It focuses on ITIL framework solutions and is the leading Business Service Management provider in Europe. BaseN concentrates on solutions for monitoring infrastructure in real time, providing monitoring data in an easily understandable form to ensure the functioning of critical systems in business. Combining all this will establish comprehensive, economical IT service management for business.“Collaborating will open for us a new dimension deeper in infrastructure. We focus on IT processes that support business, and the systems controlling these. Automating the monitoring of infrastructure is crucial in forming a whole.
