Security of the BaseN Platform
The security issue consists of three parts: Agents, Platform and user access. The service is protected to a high standard by the design itself. Additional features may be implemented where seemed necessary.
The BaseN Platform’s Agent machine(s) communicate with the BaseN Platform using HTTP protocol. The Platform is protected by a firewall at all access points and data access to the platform is restricted to BaseN personnel, while customers only have access to their own data instances. The most secure service is the in-house installation, where security is entirely up to the customer.
