What is the ideal profile of a BaseN candidate?
There is none. BaseN employees have a wide variety of educational, cultural and professional backgrounds. However there are some traits that all have in common: a passion to excel, the willingness to learn and absolute professional integrity.

What Education do I need for a BaseN career?
This depends on the tasks you wish to perform. BaseN presently employs people with education in computer science, business, engineering and design.

What work experience do I need?
We appreciate previous international experience and project management experience. However, when applying for a junior position, we understand that you possible don't have any relevant professional experience yet and will train you on the job.

What language skills do you require?
English is a must. When working in our HQ in Helsinki, Finnish is an advantage. Generally, we expect you to speak at least three languages fluently (negotiation level fluency).

Is traveling required?
Yes. While some administrative positions require little traveling, most tasks do require extensive traveling. You will be expected to participate in implementation projects and development meetings at our customer's premises. Some projects might even require your presence on location for a few weeks at a time. However, BaseN strives to maintain a healthy work/life balance in their assignments.

What is your recruiting process?
After reviewing your CV and assessing how and where you would fit in, you would be invited for an interview. During the interview we will go together through a case study that will allow you to get to know us and our way of working. After the first interview the most suitable candidates will be selected for a second interview.

What international opportunities are there at BaseN?
Presently BaseN has offices in Helsinki (HQ), Amsterdam and Atlanta. In addition to these, we have ongoing implementation projects in Europe, the USA and the Middle East. Regardless of your office location you can be assigned to any of the international projects.

What training do you offer to your employees?
Presently there is no formalized training program. You will have the opportunity to learn directly from experienced professionals at implementation projects and other job assignments.
